Job summary

Jost International is seeking an Assembly Team Member to perform tasks on the Landing Gear and components assembly lines under supervision. You will assemble legs and related parts with accuracy, follow standard work and WI, and rotate daily among stations.

The role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Training and cross-training across stations are required to support workforce flexibility.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School education or GED.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment safely and productively.
• Ability with dexterity to work in all assembly areas with varied part weights and sizes.
• Highly dependable, motivated and possesses a high degree of attention to detail.
• Capable of using applicable hand and power tools to include grinding tools.
• Mechanically inclined or previous experience in assembly.
• Required to understand and strictly abide by Work Instructions (WI).
• Ability to gain knowledge of, understanding of and abide by JOST's Basic Processes and gain knowledge of company products.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to learn, cross train and gain proficiency in each position/station on the assembly lines and rotate daily as required to each of the positions. (hours at each station required, daily)
• Is responsible to communicate in courteous manner with coworkers, supervisors and other JOST teams.

INTRODUCTION: This position reports to Assembly Line Supervisor and Assembly Lead. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.
