Atmos Energy seeks a Gas Measurement MIC Technician in Florida to operate, maintain, test, and calibrate measurement facilities and regulators for natural gas. This role supports emergency response and ensures accurate records in compliance with regulations.
The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of related field experience, plus a valid driver's license. You will work outdoors, travel as needed, and adhere to safety procedures and company values.

High school diploma or equivalent, and three years natural gas measurement, construction and maintenance and/or service field experience; or equivalent.
Requires a valid driver's license in accordance with company standards.
Requires the ability to communicate with internal/external customers to obtain and/or provide explanations and/or information.
Requires the ability to perform complex calculations related to measurement principles and concepts.
Requires advanced knowledge of various software applications and multiple technologies to create documents, reports and/or graphics.
Work requires entry to customer premises.
Works outdoors in all types of weather and may be exposed to extremes of climate and temperatures, high noise levels, rough terrain, and occasional work on ladders and confined spaces.
Requires extensive travel.
May have residence requirement due to call-out response time.
Works as an individual contributor and/or as member of a team.
Ability to lift and carry 80 pounds from the ground. (Ex: lifting and carrying a bags of concrete).
Ability to lift 53 pounds from the ground to 52 inches. (Ex: lifting and operating fire extinguisher).
Ability to generate 81-foot pounds of force at a contact point of 70 inches. (Ex: securing fittings).
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch. 5. Ability to walk a distance of 500 feet.
Requires the acute sense of sight and hearing (corrected or uncorrected) and strong sense of smell.
As a Safety-Sensitive position, pre and post employment screenings, including but not limited to drug testing as outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), and motor vehicle record (MVR) background checks are required.
