Job summary

Jackson Health System in Miami, FL is seeking a Nurse Anesthetist to administer anesthesia under medical direction for diverse surgical cases. You will prepare patients pre- and post-operatively, collaborate with the attending anesthesiologist, and monitor vital signs and patient status throughout procedures.

The role requires Master’s in Nursing and Florida RN/CRNA licensure with NBCRNA certification, plus BLS/ACLS as applicable. On-call pool unit involvement is expected.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN/CRNA in Florida or eligible for licensure.
• National Board Certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
• American Heart Association basic life support and related certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthetic evaluation and documentation.
• Formulate anesthesia care plan with attending anesthesiologist.
• Monitor and adjust physiologic parameters during anesthesia.
• Recognize adverse reactions and initiate actions.
• Provide anesthesia reports to recovery staff per protocol.
• Educate and supervise student nurse anesthetists as needed.
