Job summary

Herbruck Poultry Ranch is hiring a MI-based Driver (Station) to transport poultry between farms, ensuring high quality care and safe loading practices. Shift times vary with business needs and you will work full time in Ionia, MI.

The role requires driving a 53’ trailer, compliance with FMCSA hours, and a strong emphasis on animal welfare and biosecurity. Candidates must be physically capable and able to work weekends or holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience driving a 53' trailer.
• English reading/speaking proficiency.
• 2 years’ experience driving a truck; delivery experience preferred.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to perform essential functions; able to work with birds directly.
• Adhere to strict animal welfare and biosecurity policies.
• Do not own or maintain routine contact with swine, birds, or cattle.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Poultry to and from farms with professionalism.
• Maintain high-quality care for our Birds.
• Ensure load is properly secured and loaded.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and keep it in good operating condition.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Perform daily DOT inspection of equipment
• Comply with FMCSA rules and regulations for DOT hours of service and compliance
• Comply with Herbruck’s and DOT policies and required training
• Other duties as assigned
