Job summary

Advance Distribution Inc is seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join our Grand Rapids, MI team. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday work week with home time every other night, weekends, and holidays.

Average weekly pay ranges from $1,700 to $2,000 plus 0.70 CPM and Stop Pay, with deliveries to MI, OH, and IN, no residential deliveries. Applicants must have a Michigan CDL, clean driving record, DOT/HOS knowledge, and the ability to lift freight.

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan CDL required.
• Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) requirements.
• Ability to lift and handle freight as needed.
• Reliable, punctual and self-motivated with strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver LTL to small furniture stores in MI, OH, & IN. No residential deliveries.
• May require using a 2-wheel dolly to move boxed furniture to the back of the trailer.
• Adhere to schedule and ensure timely, safe deliveries.
• Maintain safe driving practices and comply with DOT/HOS regulations.

Job Description

• Monday-Friday work week.
• Home time is every other night, weekends, and holidays.
• Average pay is $1,700.00 -$2,000.00 per week.
• .70 CPM plus Stop Pay
• Drivers deliver LTL to small furniture stores in MI, OH, & IN. No residential deliveries.
• Drivers may be required to use a 2-wheel dolly to move the boxed furniture to the back of the 53’ trailer door, the customer will take it off and into the building.
• Minimum 2 years experience required

Requirements:

• Valid Michigan Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) requirements
• Ability to lift and handle freight as needed
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with strong time management skills
• Previous CDL driving experience preferred
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
