Mi Casa Summer Camp STEAM/Activity Instructor. July 7th through August 7th. Monday through Thursday 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm.

Pay rate $22/hr

Job Summary:

Mi Casa Summer Camp is seeking an enthusiastic and creative STEAM/Activity Teacher to lead engaging, hands-on activities and projects for students in Pre-K through 6th grade. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about inspiring young minds through Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver fun, age-appropriate STEAM lessons and activities for campers.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with camp goals and themes.
• Provide both individual and group instruction tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
• Maintain classroom control and ensure active participation from all students.
• Select and manage instructional materials and supplies.
• Demonstrate project methods and safety procedures clearly and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children in an educational or camp setting.
• A valid teaching license is preferred, but not required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Working Conditions:
Classroom, office, lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, sitting, keyboarding, etc.
