Job summary

Heritage Behavioral Health Center in Decatur, Illinois, seeks a Mental Health Professional for the Intensive Placement Stabilization (IPS) program. Qualifications

• Must meet Illinois Rule 132 criteria for Mental Health Professional (MHP).
• Experience working with youth and families preferred, child welfare experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
• Minimum age of 21 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family counseling to youth and foster families.
• Conduct assessments and assist in developing individualized service plans.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions focused on placement stabilization.
• Collaborate with DCFS, foster parents, and community partners to coordinate care.
• Participate in crisis intervention and on-call rotation as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with DCFS and agency standards.
