Job summary

Dematic Corp. in United States—Minden, NV—is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain material handling equipment (MHE) and perform preventative maintenance. You will build and close work orders in the asset management system, troubleshoot issues, and manage parts from inventory.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; vocational training preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand for 10–12 hours.
• Flexibility to cover multiple shifts including holidays.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain MHE, including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and lubrication.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
• Build and close work orders in the asset management system with data, including labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
• Troubleshoot basic conveyance problems and understand the resources to resolve them.
• Locate and supervise spare parts from inventory.
• Respond to semi-complex service calls and address equipment failures and faults.
• Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to address them.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
