Job summary

Sysco is seeking a warehouse associate to perform loading, receiving, put-away, stocking, selecting and packing duties. The role requires operating material handling equipment, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring accurate documentation of goods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; one year warehouse experience acceptable.
• Must be certified on material handling equipment or able to obtain certification.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Loading: handle product to minimize damage; report damage; ensure dock cleanliness.
• Receiving: record product delivered, stage for put-away, inspect for damage, operate MHE and maintain equipment.
• Put-away/Stocking: place product in correct slots, scan items, maintain MHE, report issues.
• Selecting: select product for outbound shipments, stage float numbers, ensure correct handling.
• Order Packing: sort, package and label shipments for FedEx and LTL; meet warehouse standards.
• All Functions: work with supervisor to prevent shrink, cross-train as needed, follow safety rules, use RF equipment.
