Job summary

Easterseals New Jersey is seeking a capable program administrator to oversee daily operations across multiple residential sites, ensuring licensing compliance and high-quality care. Based in Franklin Park, NJ, this full-time role runs Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:00pm and offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a stable nonprofit environment.

You will manage the residential budget, staff schedules, and overtime; monitor documentation in an EHR system; participate in IDT meetings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• Experience in mental health group home setting preferred.
• Management experience required and strong leadership Fähigkeiten.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Since 1948, Easterseals New Jersey has worked to meet the continuously growing needs of people with disabilities and their families. Its services for individuals with mental health conditions provide daily living support and community-based programs that teach valuable life skills through instruction and real-world experiences.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee daily operations across multiple residential sites, ensuring compliance with licensing standards.
• Manage the residential budget, staff schedules, and overtime.
• Monitor fiscal, medical, and personal documentation for accuracy.
• Participate in Inter-Disciplinary Team (IDT) meetings and Individual Habilitation Plan (IHP) development.
• Prepare and submit monthly operational reports.
• Ensure accurate documentation to meet consumers' needs (employment, recreational, emotional).

What You’ll Have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in mental health, psychology, sociology, social work, or a related field from an accredited college or universityORa combination of 1+ years of college and at least4 yearsof related work/life experience in direct careORa high school diploma or GED and at least4 yearsof related work/life experience indirect care required.
• At least 1 yearexperience in a mental health group home settingrequired.
• At least 1 year of management experiencerequired.
• Proven leadership, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including working with individuals with mental illness.
• Intermediate computer skills including the ability to complete documentation in anElectronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Valid driver's licenseand an acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of state/local regulations.
• This role requires driving as an essential function. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be subject to post-offer verification of driving eligibility consistent with company insurance requirements.
