Position Overview

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a MH-139 Avionics Technician willing to work on 1st and/or 2nd shift and periodic weekends supporting the MH-139 program at Maxwell AFB, Alabama.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assembles, disassembles, and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
  2. Provides on-the-job training (OJT) to USAF personnel.
  3. Oversees assembly, disassembly, or overhaul processes.
  4. Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
  5. Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components.
  6. Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
  7. Documents procedures and processes to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.
  8. Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness.
  9. Works under general direction.

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with Military aircraft maintenance.
  • Knowledge of aircraft tools and test equipment.
  • Willingness to work variable shifts.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with AW-139 or MH-139 maintenance/modifications.
  • Rotorcraft maintenance experience.
  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
  • General Mechanic experience.

Additional Information:

Education typically includes a High School diploma/GED plus 4+ years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.

Salary range: $59,500 - $80,500. Applications accepted until May 16, 2025.
