Job summary

Aurex in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Military GPS User Equipment Systems Engineer to support the U.S. Air Force in MGUE development, integration, security, and verification.

You will work with government customers, FFRDCs, and industry partners to design test strategies, evaluate performance, and ensure secure, reliable, mission-ready GPS capabilities. The role spans requirements through fielding in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Active DoD security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• 5+ years developing or reviewing test plans, procedures, reports, test vectors, and verification strategies.
• 5+ years supporting DoD integration and test activities.
• Experience with cryptography, information assurance, or secure systems engineering.
• Knowledge of military GPS systems, PNT technologies, and GPS receiver architectures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies for MGUE integration.
• Evaluate system requirements and verification methods against ICDs and TRDs.
• Support integration, verification, and validation of GPS receiver hardware and software.
• Collaborate with government customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to meet program milestones.
• Prepare engineering documentation and technical reports.
