Overview

Mgr, Solution Products – REMOTE

The Manager Solution Products is responsible for the value delivered by the products within their organization. This role leads and mentors a team of product owners, drives the development of innovative, client-centric solutions, and supports the growth and development of the team while ensuring successful delivery of value-driven products.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of product owners, ensuring alignment with agile principles and healthcare industry best practices to deliver high-quality, patient-centric products.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders to define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of solutions that meet compliance and regulatory standards and maximize value.
  • Drive continuous improvement in agile processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives, to enhance team productivity and product quality in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Ensure product alignment with strategic business goals, value drivers, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, CMS, and state laws) while balancing stakeholder needs and technical feasibility.
  • Partner with portfolio stakeholders to design and develop system and process features.
  • Lead department operations by developing vision and providing guidance, direction, and authorization to execute major plans and initiatives.
  • Drive discovery and identify issues to ensure timely resolution; use data analysis and customer research to resolve issues.
  • Update, prioritize, and sequence the Portfolio Backlog Epics based on strategic direction and balancing other needs of the organization, clients, or dependent portfolios.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience
  • 6 years of experience with changes to business processes or related business experience
  • 1 year of leadership/people management experience
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Additional Qualifications
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and vendors
  • Ability to lead a cross-functional team using organization and portfolio goals
  • Ability to communicate technical and business information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in business, IT or related field
  • Experience in agile environments, UX design, product discovery/definitions for software, minimum viable product, Scrum, and Lean startup
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative analytic approaches
  • Experience managing complex development projects in dynamic environments
  • Experience leading large, complex product teams and cross-portfolio initiatives
  • Experience with change management and leading diverse teams
  • Experience delivering on-premise and cloud/mobility products and working with software design concepts, practices, and procedures
  • SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager (POPM) Certification
  • Experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or related industry
