Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. is seeking a Manager, Retail Operations to lead the activities and coordination of teams within the assigned business function areas.

You will guide workflow, oversee process mapping, and align with industry and regulatory requirements to deliver reliable results. You will manage a team responsible for strategic reporting, analysis, and cross-functional coordination, while driving improvements with IT and business partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, or 12+ years if no degree.
  • Energy industry experience
  • Proven ability to build, develop, and retain high performing teams
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to internal and external audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to influence key business decisions
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills with ability to solve new and complex problems quickly
  • Working knowledge of LDC / ISO market transactions (EDI)

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain team performance through goals, metrics, quality standards, development plans, and regular performance reviews.
  • Lead and develop a high performing team responsible for strategic reporting, analysis, and coordination activities, providing coaching and performance oversight.
  • Partner with cross functional teams and Information Technology to support projects, define requirements, develop test plans, and implement system and process improvements.
  • Proactively challenge the status quo to automate and improve processes through innovation.
  • Resolve complex operational issues using independent judgment, including interpreting tariffs, regulatory requirements, and market rules as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), through audits and control testing.
  • Travel required as necessary to meet business needs.
  • In-person attendance for training, all-hands meetings, and other engagements.

Expected salary range of $123,300 to $137,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).


Primary Purpose of Position

The Manager, Retail Operations is responsible for managing and coordinating the activities and operations of the teams in the assigned business function areas. This position will maintain an advance understanding of the workflow activity and business process mapping as well as the current industry and regulatory requirements within the assigned teams and will guide the team through complex workflow issue resolution and evaluate the integrity of system controls providing direction and support for innovation where needed. This position will proactively communicate with other teams to mitigate or fully remediate issues that cross multiple functional areas.


Primary Duties and Accountabilities

  • Proactively challenge the status quo to automate and improve processes through innovation by creating and/or leveraging new technologies or work processes, with focus and intent on implementing their sustainable solutions.

  • Resolve complex operational issues using independent judgment, including interpreting tariffs, regulatory requirements, and market rules as needed.

  • Ensure adherence to compliance requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), through regular audits, assessments and control testing.

  • Travel required as necessary to meet business needs.

  • In-person attendance for training, all-hands meetings, and other meaningful engagements.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree and 8-years of experience, in lieu of degree 12-years of experience

  • Energy industry experience

  • Proven ability to build, develop, and retain strong, high performing teams

  • Proven written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to internal and external audiences

  • Demonstrated ability to influence key business decisions

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications


  • Master's degree in Information Systems or Business Program

  • Experience using CRM and or order to cash workflow systems
