UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital is seeking a Manager of Respiratory Therapy to lead the department, oversee daily operations, and ensure high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care across shifts.

You will mentor the team, drive performance, collaborate with hospital leaders, and advance respiratory services in alignment with UF Health goals.

A Florida license (RRT) and the listed certifications are required to perform this role effectively.

Qualificações

• 8 years clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• 5 years of supervisory experience in acute care setting.
• Florida License, RRT, ACLS, BLS for Healthcare providers, NRP, PALS.
• Must read/write/speak English.

Join UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital as our Manager of Respiratory Therapy!

We’re looking for an experienced respiratory care professional who is ready to take the next step in leadership and make a meaningful impact on our patients, team members, and respiratory services.

As the Manager of Respiratory Therapy, you’ll provide leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operations of the Respiratory Therapy Department, with 24-hour responsibility for ensuring high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered respiratory care.

Reporting to the Divisional Director of Respiratory Therapy, you’ll lead and support the respiratory care team while focusing on clinical excellence, team development, operational performance, and the continued growth of respiratory services.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and oversee daily operations of the Respiratory Therapy Department
• Support the delivery of safe, high-quality respiratory care
• Develop, mentor, and engage respiratory therapy team members

Qualifications

Education: Associate degree in RespiratoryCare and Bachelor degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or similar.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must have current Florida License, RRT, ACLS,BLSfor Healthcare providers, NRP, PALS.

Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training:

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Maintains/Exceeds all Specialty educational requirements.

Training as required by licensure.

Experience Required
