Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing and enhancing our manufacturing processes through the implementation of continuous improvement methodologies. This role requires a proactive leader with a passion for optimizing efficiency, quality (significantly reducing customer complaints), safety (aiming for zero incidents), and productivity while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and secure working environment by establishing and enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations. Monitor safety and security systems regularly.
  • Lead and manage the production team and operations to meet targets.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and quality, complying with Medline Operating System strategies.
  • Analyze production data to identify improvement areas and implement solutions.
  • Facilitate training and development programs on continuous improvement techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and eliminate waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct audits to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Drive adoption of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
  • Report on production performance and improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and mentor staff, conduct performance reviews, and maintain morale.
  • Support Cost Out projects to achieve company goals.
  • Lead MKOS Systems and promote PDCA approach for system improvements.
  • Create A3s and deploy problem-solving tools to improve KPIs.
Required Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5 years’ experience in manufacturing and supply chain environments.
  • 2 years’ experience managing people, including hiring, developing, and motivating staff.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, AS400, and SAP.
Salary Range:

$90,480.00 - $135,720.00 USD annually. Actual salary varies based on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Role is bonus/incentive eligible. Minimum wage or salary thresholds are respected.
