This role includes leading the core coaching experience, defining product strategy, and overseeing a team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in product management, possess strong communication skills, and a user-centered approach to product development.
Money Canvas is on a mission to help improve financial health in America. We are a free money coaching program that empowers people to take control of their money and build healthier spending and saving habits. The program is human-delivered, digitally enabled, grounded in behavioral psychology, and offered as a package of three one-on-one virtual sessions. As the Manager of Product on Money Canvas’ Coaching Experiences (CX) team, you will lead the evolution of our core coaching experience to improve users’ learning, behavioral, and financial outcomes. Our CX team is central to our mission, providing exceptional and delightful on-screen experiences to thousands of users while enabling our coaches to do the same. You will define the vision, roadmap, and strategy for a suite of products that help people visualize, learn about, and change their financial behaviors. You will oversee two product areas: (1) our core webapp experience, used by Money Canvas coaches to facilitate sessions with users, and (2) an emerging self-service experience for Money Canvas users to re-engage with content and concepts in between sessions. You will own the entire product lifecycle—from idea to launch—for an evergreen problem space while discovering, mitigating, and prioritizing dependencies on the in-session experience and other product areas, helping to build a new user journey from the ground up.
This role is unique in that it requires you to think like a systems designer and define and own business outcomes like a product leader. As the ideal candidate, you have demonstrated success launching and leading consumer-facing products that deepen user engagement and satisfaction or reinforce healthy behaviors. You bring a user-centric approach, a bias for action, and a deep understanding of what it takes to build a seamless, scalable, and delightful core user experience. Experience with human service/delivery models or in the educational/coaching space is a strong plus; design fluency is a must.
