RTX Corporation is seeking an experienced Acquisition Professional for a remote role in the Land & Air Defense Systems unit. You will source materials, manage supplier performance, and oversee the full PO lifecycle for DoD, FMS, and DCS customers in a collaborative procurement team.

The role requires a university degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with at least 5 years. Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and SAP/PRISM is preferred, and U.S. citizenship is required.

The Land & Air Defense Systems Strategic Business Unit Team has a great opportunity for an experienced Acquisition Professional in a highly collaborative role where you will have the opportunity to lead in the sourcing and acquisition of materials and services, manage supplier performance and the entire purchase order life cycle (requirements including supplier development, requirement solicitations, Purchase Order award, post-award management, and closeout activities) for DoD, FMS, and DCS customers within the procurement team. You will manage several supplier relationships necessary to support various programs for the factory material needs.

What You Will Do:
  • Preparation and issuance of RFP’s
  • Place purchase orders of medium complexity in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requirements for variouscomplex subcontract (Cost Type, IncentiveType, Firm Fixed, etc.).
  • Support negotiation strategies and Support formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, scope, Terms & Conditions).
  • Perform price and cost analysis techniques in support of proposals.
  • Nurture professional business relationships with first tier subcontractors.
  • Work closely with the Program and other functional groups (Operations, Quality, Engineering, Program Management, etc) to achieve objectives
  • Maintain PO's to ensure accurate and timely supplier delivery information.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
