The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $103,600.00 – $172,600.00. This role is eligible for an incentive target of up to 15%, based on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives in accordance with the current terms of the incentive program which are subject to change.

The pay range provided above is not a guarantee of compensation. The range reflects the potential base pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual base pay compensation will depend, in part, on factors such as geographic work location and relevant experience and skills.

As the Human Resources Manager supporting the Grainger Technology Group (GTG), you will serve as a strategic partner to leaders across a broad and evolving technology organization. You will translate GTG’s business and technology priorities into people, organization, and talent strategies that strengthen leadership capability, align talent with future needs, increase internal mobility, and enable teams to deliver with greater speed, clarity, and accountability. This role will support leaders across technology functions—including Product Engineering, Infrastructure and Platform Engineering, Architecture, Data and Analytics, Machine Learning, Information Security, and Business Systems—while partnering across HR to deliver an inclusiveand high-performing team member experience.

Translate business needs into human resource plans and programs
Identify and assess human resource needs in designated departments. Collaborate with human resource "centers of excellence" (i.e. Total Rewards, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, Organization Effectiveness). Provide expertise in areas of human capital such as employee development, performance, talent acquisition, inclusion and diversity and total rewards
Partner with leaders to develop organization structure and job design based on work processes.

Provide guidance to leaders on performance management tools within specific departments in partnership with team member relations advisors
Ensure appropriate learning and growth opportunities are identified and acted on for individuals and teams.
Coach the business through the appropriate change management steps to ensure successful execution of important projects
Coach leaders to improve engagement and create a great experience for Grainger team members
Drive process and clarity for all key HR processes; communicate in the business to achieve the desired process outcomes
Participate in interviews for key roles
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional work experience required
5+ years progressive Human Resource management required
Influencing and facilitating skills, which surface differing viewpoints and result in the best course of actions. Understanding of organization dynamics and can navigate appropriate channels.
Success managing projects.
