Job Description

The Manager of Finance and Analysis provides insight and analysis around financial results and business decisions. This position supervises the gathering, reporting and analysis of information to enhance the business unit leadership team's understanding of financial, operational and industry drivers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive, timely and relevant financial analysis and reporting to Prime management including monthly results by product type, activity and on a consolidated basis
  • Build deep partnerships with business leadership, aiding in the development of analytical skills and a focus on process improvement
  • Consult with business and other resources to gain an understanding of industry trends, product changes and sales offerings; provide analysis and insight into the impact of these factors on volumes, revenues and expenses
  • Perform in depth financial analysis including cost/benefit analysis and pro-forma ROI financial analysis for new products, programs or business
  • Serve as the primary liaison for the business unit during budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Facilitate and lead the activities of multiple teams involving sales, pricing and procurement on revenue, cost of goods sold and volume projections
  • Work with operations management to develop FTE, operating cost and capital expenditure projections including the creation and maintenance of complicated models that facilitate the planning and analysis of margin components
  • Collaborate and strategize with operations management in areas such as staffing, productivity and activity based costing to drive efficiencies
  • Work closely with the business team to develop daily, weekly and monthly reporting processes for key performance indicators and metrics
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
  • 6 years of combined financial analysis and/or accounting experience
  • 1 year of leadership/management experience
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

  • Proven financial analysis and data analysis skills; advanced skills in Access/Excel with exposure to Business Objects, Hyperion and financial system implementations
  • Demonstrated skills in communication and financial presentations to all levels of management
  • Flexibility and ability to work within a fast growth environment with changing priorities
  • Strong team player with a customer service approach and solution orientation

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or CMA
  • Pharmacy, healthcare or insurance experience with exposure to a high-volume environment
