Job Summary:
Provides leadership and direction in carrying out our organization's vision and strategies. Works in alliance with the Information Technology team, Operational leaders, Inception Health, and the Chief Information Officer (CIO) to develop and execute effective methodologies for Epic Interoperability build and provider database functionality across the Froedtert Health organization. Responsible for leading a high-performing Epic Interoperability and Digital Health team through day-to-day operations while building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. Navigates complex priorities to ensure interoperability solutions enhance both provider efficiency and patient experience as digital demands evolve.
Key Responsibilities
• Provides daily operational leadership for our Epic Interoperability and Digital Health team ensuring consistent delivery excellence
• Builds and nurtures strong relationships with clinical, technical, and administrative stakeholders
• Translates complex technical requirements into actionable solutions that meet evolving digital demands
• Manages team workload, prioritization, and resource allocation to meet service level agreements
• Coaches and develops team members to excel in a fast-paced healthcare technology environment
• Implements and optimizes digital front door solutions that enhance patient engagement
• Tracks and reports on key performance indicators to demonstrate interoperability value and impact
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Lead or Manager role within an Electronic Health Record (EHR) focused information systems team is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical environment supplemented with intense information systems or systems analysis experience is required.
Experience with Epic, especially in MyChart patient experience setting is highly-preferred.
• Proven experience managing technical teams in healthcare IT, preferably with Epic systems
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build trust across diverse stakeholder groups
• Experience balancing competing priorities in a demanding healthcare environment
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and digital health technologies
• Track record of translating customer needs into technical solutions
• Ability to motivate teams through periods of change and increasing digital demands
• Experience with performance metrics and continuous improvement methodologies
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
Bachelor’s Degree in a Clinical discipline, Computer Science or Healthcare related field or acquired through a combination of education and experience is required.
LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:
Epic MyChart certification is highly-preferred.
Compensation, Benefits & Perks at Froedtert Health
Pay is expected to be between: (expressed as hourly) $45.09- $77.13. Final compensation is based on experience and will be discussed with you by the recruiter during the interview process.
