Job summary

GEO Group seeks a Contract Administration and Compliance Manager to support the Director of Contract Administration and Compliance. This role manages daily contract administration, including modifications, invoices, renewals, and financial tracking across contracts.

The ideal candidate will have strong spreadsheet/database skills, report-writing ability, and effective communication. Occasional travel and adherence to contract requirements are essential.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma with 6 years of related experience, or a bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience.
  • Strong proficiency with spreadsheets and databases.
  • Ability to write reports clearly and concisely.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and stay organized.
  • Willingness to travel overnight occasionally.
  • Background check must pass.
  • Proficiency with department software and computers.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee processing of contract modifications.
  • Approve initial contract invoices.
  • Manage contract deductions and awards tracking.
  • Manage and track contract renewal process.
  • Oversee financial components in the contract database.
  • Monitor contracts to meet financial obligations.
  • Review proposals and new contracts (staffing, CPI, per diem, awards).
  • Process amendments, modifications, requests for adjustments, SF1444s, and Task Orders for approval.
  • Contribute to reviewing small business, sub-contracting, and contract reporting requirements.
  • Organize information regarding client requests for senior managers and executives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
Summary:

The Contract Administration and Compliance Manager provides support to the Director of Contract Administration and Compliance and manages daily contract administration.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The Contract Administration and Compliance Manager oversees processing of contract modifications.
  • Provides approval of initial contract invoices.
  • The Contract Administration and Compliance Manager manages and tracks contract deductions and awards.
  • Manages and tracks the contract renewal process.
  • The Contract Administration and Compliance Manager oversees the financial components within the Contract Administration database for contracts and options and the historical documentation about them.
  • Monitors contracts to ensure financial obligations under agreements are being met in accordance with the contract requirements.
  • The Contract Administration and Compliance Manager reviews proposals and new contracts (e.g. staffing/wage determinations, expansions, CPI increases, per diem adjustments, and performance awards/fees).
  • Processes amendments, modifications, requests for adjustments (REAs), SF1444s, and Task Orders prior to submission for approval.
  • Contributes to reviewing small business, sub-contracting, and contract reporting requirements.
  • Organizes relevant information regarding client requests for senior managers and executives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma with a minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in a related field, or a bachelor’s degree with (2) two years of progressive experience in a related field. Education and experience may be combined at the discretion of management.
  • Excellent usage of spreadsheet and databases.
  • Ability to write reports in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally to others.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to be organized and able to work on several tasks at the same time.
  • Ability to occasionally travel with overnight stays.
  • Must be able to pass a background
  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
