Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical aptitude including arithmetic with fractions and decimals.
• Experience or training interpreting blueprints/manufacturing drawings.
• Frequent lifting of 25-60 lbs and occasional lifting over 60 lbs; repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation of a forming press joining components to the skirt.
• Use measuring devices and record fractional and decimal equivalents.
• Discern out of tolerance conditions using fractions/decimals.
• Load parts and unload assembled chambers manually.
• Operate portable tilter to move bins of parts into position.
• Perform changeovers and minor adjustments to equipment.
• Assist maintenance with minor repairs and major repairs as needed.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Maintain quality standards established for the process.
• Work from written or verbal instructions.
• Maintain good housekeeping in work areas.
• Observe all departmental safety requirements.
• May be exposed to high noise levels, fumes and airborne particles.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Will be required to use measuring devices and record fractional and decimal equivalents.
• As assigned, required to discern out of tolerance conditions using fractional and decimal equivalents.
• Will be required to manually load parts and unload assembled chambers.
• Required to operate a portable tilter to move bins of parts into position.
• Will be required to perform changeovers and make minor adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Will be required to make minor repairs and assist maintenance with major repairs to equipment.
• As assigned, may be required to perform routine preventative maintenance.

• Continuous lifting of 5-25 lbs.
• Frequent lifting of 25-60 lbs.
• Occasional lifting of 60+ lbs.
• Frequent strain due to position and unsupported lifting.
• Strain due to repetitive motions.
