Job summary

The MFM Sonographer Educator II at Harris Health plays a vital role in maternal-fetal medicine by performing diagnostic ultrasound and mentoring learners. Under physician supervision, you will provide essential information for patient diagnosis while ensuring high standards of care.

You will train ultrasound students, residents, and staff, develop and implement best practices, and participate in quality improvement and patient experience initiatives, maintaining ARDMS requirements.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree from an accredited medical sonography program.
• BLS certification from approved American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Program.
• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography RDMS in OBGYN specialty.
• Cervical length certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Mentor, train, and guide ultrasound learners; develop best practices.
• Provide essential clinical information for diagnosis and treatment under physician supervision.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient experience initiatives.
• Teach sonographer students, medical students, and residents; document competencies.
