Qualifications

• Perform routine obstetrical ultrasound examinations under physician direction.
• Review imaging requisitions for exam appropriateness and collaboration with Radiology staff.
• Demonstrate proper use of ultrasound equipment and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain patient-centered care and follow department QC workflows.
• Engage in continuing education and maintain required certifications.
• Lead or participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform routine obstetrical ultrasound examinations as Level I/II.
• Educate and mentor trainees, residents, and students as assigned.
• Coordinate daily workflow and assist with scheduling and operational priorities.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and support department operations.
• Participate in equipment evaluations and imaging process improvements.
• Support compliance with hospital standards and high reliability communications.
