MFL Teacher – French and/or Spanish
Location: Braintree, Essex
Contract: Full-time
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £130 - £250 per day

Are you passionate about language learning and cultural exchange? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join our forward-thinking secondary school in Braintree.

This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in French and/or Spanish, helping them develop communication skills, cultural awareness, and a lifelong love of languages.

The Role:

  • Deliver high-quality MFL lessons (French and/or Spanish) across KS3 and KS4
  • Support students in developing their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
  • Prepare students for GCSE exams with a clear focus on progress and achievement
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that motivates all learners
  • Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities related to language and culture

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching French and/or Spanish in a secondary school setting
  • A passion for languages and cultural education
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and engage students
  • A commitment to high standards and continuous professional development
