Virco MFG. Corpoation is seeking an Mfg Technical Support, Entry - 2nd Shift in Conway, AR.

The role supports maintenance by inspecting and repairing machinery, conducting preventative maintenance, and supplying needed parts, under safety policies. Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of related experience, including forklift operation and ability to read technical instructions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of two years of related experience and/or educational experience.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers.
• Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Able to drive a forklift.
• Must pass Virco driver’s background check and forklift driving test.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery and equipment.
• Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment, listening for unusual sounds.
• Communicates with supervisors to diagnose problems or repair processes.
• Dismantles malfunctioning machines and replaces parts as needed.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
• Researches spare parts, performs preventative maintenance, and generates tool lists.
