Job summary

Virco is seeking a Maintenance Technician Apprentice in Conway, AR. You will work alongside experienced technicians to learn maintenance of manufacturing equipment in an industrial setting, gaining hands-on experience and pursuing progression through apprenticeship phases.

Requires a high school diploma, basic math, English proficiency, and the ability to operate forklifts and lifting tools. Willingness to learn safety procedures and work flexible hours is essential.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Able to perform basic math and measurements in all units.
Able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
Willing to operate forklifts and lifting equipment safely.
Must have English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

Assist technicians with diagnosing and repairing machinery.
Learn to dismantle machinery and request parts as needed.
Perform preventative maintenance and create spare parts lists.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Document breakdowns and communicate improvements to supervisors.
Use hand tools and measurement devices as required.
Work overtime as needed.
