Job summary

Intel is seeking a compressed work week shift engineer to support automation equipment performance and operations on day shift. You will troubleshoot automation applications and provide next-level support across Intel's factory network, with project work including CIP software development and insertion activity hardening.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's or Master's in a STEM field and experience with IT technologies and scripting.

Job Details

Job Description: Intel Foundry Automation's (IFA) Automation Operations Team is looking for highly driven and disciplined individual to join our team as compressed work week shift engineer for supporting equipment performance and operations on day shift. Candidate will primarily be responsible for Automation application technical troubleshooting and operational support for the systems and software running in Intel's Factories. The candidate will also be expected to provide next-level support for certain applications for Intel's worldwide factory network. Some project work including insertion activity hardening and CIP software development is also part of the job scope.

• Be comfortable presenting issues and driving solutions utilizing formal education and judgement.
• Willing to produce results in a timely manner and adjust to rapidly changing priorities.

Additionally, the candidate of choice will be willing to work a compressed work schedule: Working Shift 5

Schedule: CWW Days - AM to PM, Sun-Tues + alternate Wed (12-hour shifts)

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related STEM fields.
• 6+ months of experience with scripting and related activities (SQL, Python, PowerShell, etc.)
• 6+ months of experience in current IT technologies (Windows Server, ServiceNow, ITIL, Icloud, VMWare, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experienced with AI usage
• Resourceful, creative and innovative in coming out with ideas to resolve issues
• Good interpersonal and communication skills - must be able to communicate, clear message delivery in troubleshooting/swat bridge as well as written update on findings/investigation to factory users
• Ability to multitask and support across a broad range of applications.
