Job summary

Intel Foundry Automation's (IFA) team seeks a compressed work week shift engineer to support equipment performance and operations on day shift in Intel's Oregon facilities.

You will troubleshoot automation applications and provide operational support for systems and software across Intel's factories, with opportunities for next-level support across the worldwide factory network and CIP software development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related STEM fields.
• 6+ months of experience with scripting and related activities (SQL, Python, PowerShell, etc.)
• 6+ months of experience in current IT technologies (Windows Server, ServiceNow, ITIL, Icloud, VMWare, etc.)

Responsibilities

Job Details

Job Description: Intel Foundry Automation's (IFA) Automation Operations Team is looking for highly driven and disciplined individual to join our team as compressed work week shift engineer for supporting equipment performance and operations on day shift.

Candidate will primarily be responsible for Automation application technical troubleshooting and operational support for the systems and software running in Intel's Factories. The candidate will also be expected to provide next-level support for certain applications for Intel's worldwide factory network. Some project work including insertion activity hardening and CIP software development is also part of the job scope.

Additionally, the candidate of choice will be willing to work a compressed work schedule: Working Shift 7

Schedule: CWW Days - AM to PM, Thurs-Sat + alternate Wed (12-hour shifts)

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related STEM fields.

• Resourceful, creative and innovative in coming out with ideas to resolve issues
• Good interpersonal and communication skills - must be able to communicate, clear message delivery in troubleshooting/swat bridge as well as written update on findings/investigation to factory users
• Ability to multitask and support across a broad range of applications.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $52,000.00 - $200,000.00 (Hourly Role)
