Job summary

Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Scope of Position

This role carries direct supervisory responsibility for a frontline production team operating in a continuous manufacturing environment. The Manufacturing Supervisor – Process owns day-to-day execution of production schedules, team performance, and process quality within their assigned area. The role operates within established guidelines and policies while exercising independent judgment to resolve issues, adjust processes, and keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, and output goals; enforce safety regulations and maintain a clean, compliant work environment

Experiences/Education - Required
  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts or relevant mfg supervisory experience
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Ability to interpret technical process data and translate findings into actionable operational adjustments
  • Maintains accurate production records and communicates results, issues, and progress clearly to management
  • Documents process changes with precision and ensures follow-through on assignments
  • Identifies process gaps and implements structured improvements with minimal direction
  • Collaborates across production teams to resolve issues and sustain performance standards
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Background in ceramic manufacturing or similar process-intensive production environments

Work Schedule

  • 40–50 hours per week; off-hours support and vacation coverage as needed

The range for this position is$63,086.00-$86,743.00assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
