Job Title: Sanitation Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Maintain sanitary building, equipment, and utensils used in producing high-quality products.
- Schedule cleaning frequencies, develop methods, and train staff in procedures.
- Ensure all sanitation tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and accurately to improve plant performance in SQR areas.

Minimum Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of sanitation department operations and procedures.
- Clear communication skills for internal and external relations.
- Ability to understand complex instructions and document reports.
- College degree and/or equivalent experience.
- Basic math and computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Sanitation experience in manufacturing settings.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support and participate in plant safety processes.
- Maintain a clean and orderly plant environment, working in dairy manufacturing conditions with noise and temperature extremes.
- Ensure products are free of contamination by eliminating sources of infestation and unsanitary conditions.
- Train and develop sanitation staff, operating sanitation equipment manually.
- Monitor plant operations, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions.
- Stay updated on government sanitation regulations.
- Order supplies and maintain inventory control.
- Develop and maintain the plant's sanitation schedule.
- Plan activities and communicate with management regarding sanitation operations.
- Conduct sanitation inspections and participate in audits.
- Supervise and evaluate sanitation team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Follow policies and practices to produce safe, quality food meeting regulatory standards.
- Support SQF 2000 Systems development and maintenance.
- Adhere to Kroger Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles.
