Assist the plant senior financial leader to control and guard the company's assets by reporting profit and loss accurately, protecting inventory and capital investments, and improving cash flow and reducing working capital. Perform all jobs safely, efficiently, and accurately to maintain and improve the plant's performance in Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR), and our Customer 1st strategy. Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance.
  • 2+ years of progressive related experience, preferably in manufacturing accounting/finance.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting practices.
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships.
  • Ability to understand complex oral and written instructions.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in manufacturing and/or union environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Hyperion Essbase.
  • Experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ability to review financial records and assist in financial closing processes.
  • Skills in developing financial analyses, maintaining records, and ensuring proper reporting.
  • Experience in auditing, asset control, and working capital management.
  • Ability to evaluate accounting systems and assist in cost estimates and pricing analysis.
  • Support for food safety and quality standards, including SQF 2000 Systems.
