Job Title: MFG Operations Lead 1st Shift (Finance)

Responsible for leading the department in the absence of the Supervisor. Ensures departmental efficiency, meeting all goals and objectives. Performs all jobs safely, efficiently, and accurately to enhance plant performance in Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR), and our Customer 1st strategy. Provides leadership aligned with our 7 Kroger Manufacturing High Performance Work System Principles. Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal communication
  • Forklift certification
  • Basic math skills
Desired Qualifications and Responsibilities:
  • Previous food manufacturing experience
  • Receive assignments from shift supervisor; plan daily tasks and direct associates accordingly
  • Coordinate on-the-job and cross-training activities
  • Resolve issues via Quality Improvement Process and Work Order Request System
  • Assist in developing and ensuring compliance with SOPs
  • Participate in team meetings; communicate issues and concerns effectively
  • Facilitate communication within and across departments
  • Complete necessary down, do, and safety observation lists
  • Maintain regular attendance and work overtime as needed
  • Ensure all employees adhere to Kroger Values and Food Safety and Quality Principles
  • Support development and maintenance of SQF 2000 Systems
  • Be able to work around allergens and perform essential job functions with or without accommodations
