MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN / MECHANIC with a 4-day/week schedule, Mondays through Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. -- and have the rest of the week for yourself!

If you are an accomplished Maintenance Mechanic / Maintenance Technician / Multicraft Maintenance Tech with expertise in the manufacturing sector, this is a great opportunity to join the maintenance team for a well-established manufacturer near Ward, SC, and Greenville, SC, with varying schedules (there may be other similar roles opening soon!).

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Tech will be a key member of the Maintenance team, ensuring manufacturing equipment is proactively maintained to optimize production and safety. Responsibilities include performing proactive/preventive maintenance on equipment such as hydraulics, conveyors, packaging equipment, labelers, pneumatics, electrical systems, HVAC, robotics, and other systems in this well-established plant.

Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of electrical/mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility, with the ability to proactively maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment following good preventive maintenance (PM) principles. Note: This is not a facilities-maintenance role.
  • Expertise in proactive maintenance of manufacturing/production systems is required, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems (e.g., PLC troubleshooting), VFDs, and reading blueprints and schematics. Good maintenance record-keeping is essential.
  • Experience with conveyors, photo sensors, control panels, fuse replacement, gearboxes, and repairs.
  • Additional training, certification, or education in relevant fields such as manufacturing systems or engineering tech is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work a four-day/week schedule on Mondays through Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. (schedule may vary slightly due to multiple openings).
  • Must be permanently eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
