MFG MACHINE OPERATOR-2nd Shift (Finance)

Responsible for all aspects of machine operation and changeover activities to achieve and maintain world-class quality. Perform all jobs safely, efficiently, and accurately to maintain and improve the performance of the entire plant in Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR), and our Customer 1st strategy. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective written communication skills, including legibility.
  • Basic math skills.
Desired Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous food manufacturing experience (preferred).
Responsibilities:
  • Follow all safety procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment.
  • Operate and maintain assigned machinery safely and effectively to meet daily orders.
  • Complete safety observations as assigned.
  • Read and follow standard work instructions for the machine.
  • Follow standard work processes and verify components before starting jobs.
  • Monitor product quality to meet or exceed standards.
  • Complete downed equipment checklists when needed.
  • Accurately complete all paperwork and documentation.
  • Maintain reliable attendance, including overtime as required.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Participate actively in Total Process Control activities.
  • Work around ingredients and finished products containing food allergens.
  • Adhere to programs, policies, and practices to produce safe, quality foods that meet regulatory and company standards.
  • Be accountable to Kroger Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles.
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
