Job Description

Skyworks has an opening for an Equipment Technician at our Richardson TX assembly facility. The candidate's prime responsibility will be to maintain, troubleshoot and repair assembly equipment in a fast paced, high mix factory.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on various pieces of assembly equipment (such as, but not limited to Datacon die attach, K&S wirebond, Disco saws, ASM SMT equipment)
• Assist with equipment installation / de-installation / moves.
• Work closely with process engineers and operators within the factory
• Assist in LEAN activities (organization, 5S, continuous improvement)
• Position requires working a compressed work week.

Required Experience and Skills

• Related Associate Degree or equivalent military experience
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• This role willrequiresupporting a manufacturing facility thatoperates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Position will demand large amounts of time working in a cleanroom environment
• Lifting (up to 50lb) and standing will be required.
• Strong problem solving skills, and hands on ability are critical to this position - must be comfortable troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.

Compensation & Benefits

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD$23.65 -$42.88 per hour. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
