Skyworks Solutions, Inc. in Richardson, TX is seeking an Equipment Technician to maintain, troubleshoot and repair assembly equipment in a fast-paced, high-mix factory.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, equipment installation/moves, working with process engineers, and Lean activities. The role requires a cleanroom environment and physical effort, including lifting up to 50 lb.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate Degree or equivalent military experience.
• Previous experience in a similar equipment technician role preferred.
• Role supports 24/7 manufacturing operations in a cleanroom environment.
• Lifting up to 50 lb and standing for long periods required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on assembly equipment (e.g., Datacon die attach, K&S wirebond, Disco saws, ASM SMT).
• Assist with equipment installation, de-installation, and moves.
• Collaborate with process engineers and operators in the factory.
• Contribute to LEAN activities (organization, 5S, continuous improvement).
• Work a compressed work week as required.

Skyworks has an opening for an Equipment Technician at our Richardson TX assembly facility. The candidate’s prime responsibility will be to maintain, troubleshoot and repair assembly equipment in a fast paced, high mix factory.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on various pieces of assembly equipment (such as, but not limited to Datacon die attach, K&S wirebond, Disco saws, ASM SMT equipment)
• Assist with equipment installation / de-installation / moves.
• Work closely with process engineers and operators within the factory
• Assist in LEAN activities (organization, 5S, continuous improvement)
• Position requires working a compressed work week.

Required Experience and Skills

• Related Associate Degree or equivalent military experience
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• This role willrequiresupporting a manufacturing facility thatoperates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Position will demand large amounts of time working in a cleanroom environment
• Lifting (up to 50lb) and standing will be required.
• Strong problem solving skills, and hands on ability are critical to this position – must be comfortable troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD$23.65 -$42.88 per hour. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
