Job summary

KBR is seeking a SkillBridge/Career Skills Metrology Technician for its Embedded Metrology Laboratories. The role involves calibrating and certifying TMDE, troubleshooting to repair complex systems, and maintaining documentation to QA standards. Active duty military and eligibility for SkillBridge are required.

The position supports calibration services for several clients and involves hands-on work in a lab setting with standard metrology equipment and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

AS degree or technical training in calibration or related field.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Calibrates and certifies TMDE traceable to NIST using certified standards and procedures.
Calibrates and troubleshoots faults using TMDE and electronic systems.
Troubleshoots/repairs complex TMDE and integrated electronic systems using diagrams and software diagnostics.
Records maintenance actions and communicates with customers to improve productivity.
Conducts uncertainty analysis and ensures documentation conforms to Quality Systems.
All assigned duties.
