Job summary

KBR Careers is seeking a SkillBridge/Career Skills Metrology Technician in North Carolina. This role supports KBR’s Embedded Metrology Laboratories with service to Honeywell Aerospace and others, including calibration, testing, and diagnostics.

Active duty military eligibility for the SkillBridge internship is required. The technician will perform TMDE calibration, fault isolation, and performance testing, documenting actions and ensuring quality compliance.

Qualifications

• Formal training from military/PMEL/TMDE or calibration school with AS degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Calibrates and certifies TMDE traceable to NIST using standards and procedures.
• Calibrates and troubleshoots faults using TMDE standards.
• Troubleshoots/repairs complex TMDE and integrated electronic systems using diagrams and software diagnostics.
• Accurately records maintenance actions and reports issues to improve productivity.
