Job summary

Gotion Inc. is building a manufacturing facility in Manteno, IL. We seek a Metrology Technician to perform gauging to ensure conformance to requirements, using GD&T, MSA, GR&R, and SPC methods.

You will train others, support tooling projects, and assist with FAIs while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires experience with metrology, reading blueprints, and using inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Data entry and Excel skills are required.
• Knowledge of metrology gauging and GD&T interpretation.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document in-process and final gauging to ensure conformance.
• Apply GD&T, MSA, GR&R, and SPC knowledge to meet requirements.
• Train inspectors and technicians; support tooling and gage projects.
• Provide inspection support to all departments and assist with FAIs.
