Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in Otsego, MI is seeking a Metrology Technician to lead precision measurement initiatives and support quality standards. This on-site role focuses on calibration, maintenance, and maintaining rigorous documentation in a manufacturing setting.

You will work with CMMs, calipers, micrometers, and vision systems, performing Gage R&R studies and collaborating with engineering and quality teams to ensure product quality and process control.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Metrology or related field required.
• 3+ years in manufacturing calibration/measurement.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience with CMMs, calipers, micrometers.
• Knowledge of calibration principles and ISO 17025.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and preventative maintenance on metrology equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair measurement equipment and systems.
• Develop and maintain calibration procedures and documentation.
• Conduct Gage R&R studies and measurement system analyses.
• Provide technical support and training to production personnel on measurement techniques.
