About the Role

Culmen International is hiring a Metrology Technician to support the Research Directorate at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division. This position is on-site in Lakehurst, NJ.

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst (LKE) Mission Operations & Integration (MO&I) Department is responsible for Navy Aircraft Platform Support Equipment (SE), Aircraft Launch Recovery Equipment (ALRE), and supports additional Joint Service, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and Department of Defense (DoD) programs. The division's efforts result in logistics, engineering, and cyber work products for each aircraft and related support systems.

What You’ll Do in Your New Role
  • Calibrate physical dimensional measurement equipment to maintain accuracy and precision.
  • Conduct tests and inspections according to established standards and procedures.
  • Record and document calibration results.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with regulations. Require knowledge of dimensional measurement principles, proficiency in calibration techniques, and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years’ experience utilizing mechanical measurement, mechanical assembly tools, automotive maintenance, or building trades processes and/or tools.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Active Secret Clearance
