Job summary

MIMEDX is hiring a Metrology Technician for the Marietta facility to perform calibration and validation of equipment and systems. You will maintain calibration schedules and records in our electronic management system.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Engineering or Science and 2 years of relevant metrology experience in a FDA-regulated environment, with strong computer skills (MS Word/Excel/Visio). This is a full-time position in a GMP setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in an Engineering or Science field with 2 years of relevant work experience in medical devices or metrology in an FDA-regulated environment.
• Knowledge of AATB, FDA, ISO and other regulations.
• Strong computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio, and Windows-based operating systems

Responsibilities

• Add new equipment to the electronic management system and maintain calibration records.
• Maintain equipment records and calibration/PM schedules in the system.
• Assist Facilities or Process Engineering with equipment issues and coordinate with vendors/contractors.
• Perform routine audits of preventive maintenance and calibration programs; ensure proper labeling.
