Job summary

MIMEDX, located in Marietta, GA, is seeking a Metrology Technician to calibrate and validate equipment and manage calibration records. Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Engineering or Science with 2 years of relevant medical device/metrology experience.
• Knowledge of AATB, FDA, ISO and related regulations.
• Strong computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio, and Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and validate equipment; maintain calibration schedules in the electronic management system.
• Add new equipment to the electronic management system (MQ1) and maintain records.
• Assist with equipment issues by coordinating with Facilities or Process Engineering and Operations.
• Perform routine audits of the preventive maintenance and calibration program with proper labeling.
• Coordinate with manufacturers, vendors, contractors for maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Perform independent calibration and manage day-to-day calibration schedule.
• Ensure work complies with SOPs, cGMPs, safety, quality standards and OSHA.
• Assist in root cause analyses and CA/PA investigations as required.
