You will perform dimensional inspections, calibrate and maintain metrology tools, interpret drawings, document results, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve product quality through rigorous measurement processes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Metrology, Quality Assurance, or related field.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience in calibration/measurement.
• Proficiency with CMMs, calipers, micrometers, optical comparators.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Solid grasp of measurement uncertainty and calibration principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections of manufactured parts using metrology equipment.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot CMMs, optical comparators, calipers, and micrometers.
• Interpret drawings and GD&T to determine measurement methods and acceptance criteria.
• Document inspection results and report non-conformances.
• Develop measurement programs for automated inspection equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to resolve measurement issues.
• Conduct Gage R&R studies and other measurement system analyses.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of measurement uncertainty and calibration principles.

Bonus Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to perform Gage R&R studies and interpret results.
• Familiarity with GD&T principles and their application in manufacturing.
