Job Description

As a Metrology Technician, you will provide maintenance on various laboratory instrumentation and equipment under the guidance of senior staff. You will be responsible for installing, calibrating, and qualifying routine and remedial maintenance tasks. Your work will be documented in accordance with standard operating procedures and established maintenance schedules to meet regulatory requirements. Collaborating with lab staff, you will schedule maintenance and train others on equipment as needed.

As a Metrology Technician, you will provide maintenance on various laboratory instrumentation and equipment under the guidance of senior staff. You will be responsible for installing, calibrating, and qualifying routine and remedial maintenance tasks. Your work will be documented in accordance with standard operating procedures and established maintenance schedules to meet regulatory requirements. Collaborating with lab staff, you will schedule maintenance and train others on equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled routine maintenance on active instrumentation and equipment.
• Conduct scheduled calibrations and qualifications on active instrumentation and equipment, including IQ (Installation Qualification), OQ (Operational Qualification), and PQ (Performance Qualification).
• Execute remedial maintenance on active instrumentation and equipment.
• Oversee the installation of new laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
• Adhere to vendor documentation related to preventive maintenance, calibration, qualification, and repairs.
• Address audits, whether internal or external, concerning laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Evaluate lab support records for compliance with standard operating procedures, ensuring completeness and accuracy, and report findings.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.67 - $29.67/hr.
