Job summary

WGNSTAR, located in Hillsboro, OR, is seeking a full-time employee to operate various metrology tools including electron microscopes. The role involves performing tests, sampling, and providing analytical results.

The successful candidate will possess an A.S. or B.S. degree in STEM or related fields, and must have familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a career development package.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing environment, processes, and equipment is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate metrology tools including electron microscopes and lab equipment.
• Perform tests and sampling, including setup and operation of metrology equipment.
• Utilize client software and equipment to complete tasks and support processes.
• Provide reports and results of sampling and experiments.
• Perform PM, troubleshooting, and minor maintenance of lab equipment.

Schedule: Compressed 12hr Shifts – Night shift availability only

Pay Rate: $25 - $29 Hourly DOE

Location: Hillsboro, OR

Position Type: Full Time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Operates metrology tools, including electron microscopes, Focused Ion Beam and additional lab equipment to complete analytical requests in the client lab.
• Performs tests and sampling, including setup and operation of metrology equipment.
• Utilizes client software and equipment to complete tasks, support processes and product tracking.
• Provides reports and results of sampling and experiments.
• Performs PM, troubleshooting and minor maintenance of lab equipment.

Physical Effort/Activities

May be required to walk up to 5 miles per day, be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, and have ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
