Job summary

Trans-Matic Mfg Inc. is seeking a Metrology Lab Technician in Holland, MI for the 2nd shift (4 days, 10 hours each). The role focuses on precision measurement, CMMs, vision systems, and PPAP documentation to ensure product quality.

You will read blueprints, interpret GD&T, and maintain accurate quality records while supporting new product launches and continuous improvement in the lab environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of quality, metrology, or inspection experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong computer, spreadsheet, and data entry skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and part layouts using precision measurement equipment.
• Operate and maintain CMMs, vision systems, OGP equipment, and other inspection tools.
• Support new product launches and production quality checks.
• Read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T.
• Complete PPAP documentation and inspection reports.
• Maintain accurate records and quality data.
• Help improve processes and keep the quality lab organized and efficient.
