Job summary
Divergent is seeking a hands-on Inspection & Metrology Supervisor to lead daily inspection and measurement activities across production and development environments. The role is critical to ensuring product quality, data integrity, and robust inspection processes with strong technical leadership on the shop floor.
The ideal candidate will supervise technicians, drive repeatable CMM programs, and partner with engineering to improve cycle times, manufacturability, and adherence to ISO/AS standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with inspection, metrology, and quality in aerospace/automotive settings.
- 2+ years in a people leadership or supervisory role with coaching responsibilities.
- Strong GD&T knowledge and ability to translate drawings into inspection plans.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily inspection and metrology operations using CMMs and scanning tools.
- Lead a team of technicians, ensure adherence to inspection plans and schedules.
- Be technical contact for measurement strategy and CMM execution on the floor.
- Drive repeatable, efficient inspection methods and partner with engineering to improve cycle time.
- Coordinate workload, staffing, and equipment for production and programs.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing/Quality Engineering to resolve issues and support RCCAs.
